The Wiley X Breach Grey combines a 15% light-transmission lens with a high-wrap Matte Black frame, removable Facial Cavity™ Seal and controllable side ventilation. It is intended for bright-day tactical, motorcycle, airsoft and hardball use, while the complete frame-and-lens system has been assessed against a defined military fragment-impact standard.

The Grey lens reduces brightness and general glare in strong sunlight while keeping colours close to their natural appearance. This configuration is not identified as polarised and should not be expected to provide the reflected-surface glare control of a polarised filter.
The removable Facial Cavity™ Seal forms a soft foam barrier around the eyes. Side vents can be opened to direct airflow behind the lenses and help clear condensation, or closed to stop airflow through the ventilation openings.

The removable Facial Cavity™ Seal helps limit wind, dust, debris and peripheral light around the eyes but does not create a completely sealed enclosure. Its environmental role is separate from the defined impact performance of the tested frame-and-lens system.
The Dynamic Ventilation System allows the wearer to control airflow through side vents. Opening them directs air behind the lenses to help manage condensation; closing them stops airflow through these openings. Ventilation helps manage misting but does not guarantee fog-free performance.

The lenses are made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provide 100% UVA and UVB protection. Their T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.

This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432(GL), EN.166F.
ANSI Z87.1
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact requirements. These include tests using a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lenses must remain intact during testing.
MIL-PRF-32432(GL)
Evaluates the complete frame-and-lens system against a defined military fragment-impact standard using a .15 calibre projectile travelling at 702–724 km/h.
EN.166F
Confirms that the complete eyewear has passed a defined low-energy impact test in which the lenses must remain in the frame and must not shatter under the specified conditions.
