The Wiley X Valor combines a 15% light-transmission Polarized Grey lens with a lightweight Matte Black high-wrap frame. Particularly relevant to fishing, the lens reduces glare reflected from water and can make observable features beneath the surface easier to distinguish where water clarity, light and viewing conditions allow. The complete eyewear has also been assessed against a defined American military fragment-impact requirement.

Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal glare reflected from water, wet roads, windscreens and other shiny surfaces. The neutral Grey tint reduces brightness in strong sunlight while maintaining a clear, natural-looking view.
The high-wrap Base Curve 8 frame provides a close-fitting eyewear shape and is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon. An anti-fog coating helps resist misting caused by humidity and temperature changes.
This configuration includes the Polarized Grey lens. Compatible alternative lenses may be fitted separately for other light conditions.

Recommended use
The WX Valor Polarized Grey configuration is particularly suited to fishing in bright daytime conditions where surface glare may interfere with viewing the water. It is also relevant to daytime driving, outdoor sport and other activities involving glare from reflective surfaces.
Its high-wrap profile and defined fragment-impact testing also support hunting, shooting, tactical, defence, law-enforcement, airsoft and hardball use where a bright-light polarised lens is appropriate.

Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal light reflected from surfaces such as water, wet roads and windscreens. Around water, reducing surface glare can make observable features beneath the surface easier to distinguish where water clarity, light and viewing conditions permit. The lens has an anti-fog coating that helps resist misting caused by humidity and temperature changes. It is made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provides 100% UVA and UVB protection.
Its T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.

ANSI Z87.1
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lens must remain intact during testing.
MIL-PRF-32432A
Assesses the complete frame-and-lens system against a defined American military high-speed fragment-impact requirement. Test velocities vary according to the applicable eyewear category.
EN.166S
Assesses the complete eyewear using a defined steel-ball impact test. The lens must remain in the frame without shattering, and the frame must remain intact under the specified conditions.
