This is a single-lens configuration intended for strong sunlight. The fitted Grey lens provides 15% light transmission while keeping colours close to their natural appearance.
The interchangeable-lens system allows a different lens to be fitted for other visibility needs. Customers who regularly move into indoor or lower-light environments may therefore need another tint for those conditions.
The lightweight Matte Black frame is made from durable, non-metal Triloid™ Nylon.

The WX Valor Grey configuration is best suited to tactical activities, hunting, shooting, airsoft and hardball in bright outdoor conditions. Its dark Grey tint is most relevant when glare and strong sunlight are the main visibility concerns; indoor or reduced-light use may require a different interchangeable lens.

The lens is made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate. Its T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and limit surface damage during regular handling, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.

This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432A, EN.166S.
ANSI Z87.1
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lens must remain intact during testing.
MIL-PRF-32432A
Assesses the complete frame-and-lens system against a defined American military high-speed fragment-impact requirement, with test velocities set according to the eyewear category.
EN.166S
Assesses the complete eyewear using a defined steel-ball impact test. The lens must remain in the frame without shattering, and the frame must remain intact under the specified conditions.
