The Wiley X Trek CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Green Mirror combines a 12% light-transmission fishing lens with a lightweight Gloss Crystal Light Grey, medium-wrap frame. Polarised filtration reduces glare reflected from the water, while the Copper lens base increases the distinction of green, orange and blue tones. The complete eyewear has been assessed against defined American and European impact requirements.
Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontally reflected glare from water and other shiny surfaces. For anglers, reducing surface reflections may make observable features beneath the water easier to distinguish where water clarity, available light and viewing conditions allow.
The Copper-based CAPTIVATE™ lens increases contrast and helps green, orange and blue tones appear more distinct. Its 12% light transmission suits bright daytime conditions, including periods of light cloud cover.
A Base Curve 6 profile gives the Trek a medium-wrap shape for customers who prefer a less enveloping fit than a high-wrap frame. Its lightweight Triloid™ Nylon construction supports straightforward use across fishing and other daytime outdoor activities.

The Base Curve 6 profile provides a less enveloping shape than a high-wrap design.
The durable Triloid™ Nylon frame keeps overall frame weight low.
The lenses provide 100% UVA and UVB protection and include anti-reflective, oleophobic and scratch-resistant treatments.
This Trek configuration is particularly relevant to fishing in bright daytime conditions. Polarisation reduces water-surface glare, while the Copper lens base supports contrast and stronger distinction between green, orange and blue tones.
Daytime driving and other outdoor activities involving reflective surfaces are credible secondary uses. The 12% light transmission is designed for bright daylight rather than reduced-light conditions. The medium-wrap profile may suit customers who prefer a less enveloping frame shape for everyday outdoor wear.

The Base Curve 6 frame provides a medium-wrap profile. It is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon and finished in Gloss Crystal Light Grey, giving the frame a polished, translucent appearance.

Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal light reflected from water, wet roads, windscreens and other shiny surfaces. Around water, this can reduce interference from surface reflections and may make observable features beneath the surface easier to distinguish, depending on water clarity, available light and viewing conditions. The Copper-based CAPTIVATE™ lens manages selected wavelengths by separating areas of overlapping blue, green and red light. This increases contrast and makes green, orange and blue tones appear more distinct. The lenses also filter selected short-wavelength blue light associated with atmospheric haze and block UVA, UVB and blue light at wavelengths up to 430 nm.
The lenses are made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provide 100% UVA and UVB protection.
Anti-reflective coating: Reduces distracting reflections from the rear surface of the polarised lenses.
Oleophobic coating: Helps reduce smudges and makes oil, dirt and moisture easier to remove.
T-Shell™ coating: Helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.
This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, EN.166F.
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact requirements. These include tests using a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lenses must remain intact during testing.
Confirms that the complete eyewear has passed a defined low-energy impact test in which the lenses must remain in the frame and must not shatter under the specified conditions.
