Its 13% light-transmission lens reduces reflected glare from water and other shiny surfaces, while built-in ventilation helps manage condensation. The complete eyewear has been assessed against defined ANSI impact requirements.
Product description
Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontally reflected glare from surfaces such as water, wet roads and windscreens. This makes the configuration particularly relevant to deep-water fishing and other bright-day activities around reflective surfaces.
CAPTIVATE™ technology filters selected wavelengths to increase contrast and help colours and details appear more distinct. The Grey lens base keeps colours close to their natural appearance, while the Black Mirror finish and 13% light transmission suit intense sunlight and other bright daytime conditions.
Built-in top-corner ventilation vents increase airflow behind the lenses to help manage condensation. A Base Curve 6 profile gives the Sierra a medium-wrap shape for customers who prefer a less enveloping fit than a high-wrap frame.

The frame is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon. Its Matte Black finish provides a subdued, non-glossy appearance.

13% light transmissionPolarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal light reflected from water, wet roads, windscreens and other shiny surfaces. Around water, this can reduce interference from surface reflections and may make observable features beneath the surface easier to distinguish, depending on water clarity, available light and viewing conditions. CAPTIVATE™ technology manages selected wavelengths by separating areas of overlapping blue, green and red light. This increases contrast and helps colours and visual details appear more distinct. The Grey base maintains a broadly natural-looking colour balance. The lenses also filter selected short-wavelength blue light associated with atmospheric haze and block UVA, UVB and blue light at wavelengths up to 430 nm.
The lenses are made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provide 100% UVA and UVB protection.
Anti-reflective coating: Reduces distracting reflections from the rear surface of the polarised lenses.
Oleophobic coating: Helps reduce smudges and makes oil, dirt and moisture easier to remove.
T-Shell™ coating: Helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.
