Interchangeable Grey and Light Rust shields cover bright and contrast-enhancing medium- to low-light conditions.
The Wiley X Saber Advanced two-shield set combines Grey and Light Rust shields with an adjustable Matte Black frame. Grey supports bright sunlight, while Light Rust provides contrast enhancement in medium- to low-light conditions. This tinted configuration does not include a Clear shield for untinted indoor or very low-light use.

The Saber Advanced provides two interchangeable shields for different daylight conditions. Grey reduces intense brightness and glare while keeping colours close to their natural appearance. Light Rust filters blue light to help reduce glare and haze while increasing contrast as available light becomes more limited.
Telescoping temples can be lengthened or shortened, while the shapeable 360° wire-core nose piece allows the nose fit to be refined for different wearers. An elastic strap provides an alternative retention method during active use.
The complete frame-and-shield system has been assessed against a defined military fragment-impact standard.

The Saber Advanced Grey and Light Rust set is suited to tactical, defence, law-enforcement, airsoft and hardball activities that move between strong sunlight and medium- to low-light outdoor conditions. Its adjustable fit, alternative retention and NVG compatibility add practical value when the eyewear must remain stable alongside other equipment.
Customers requiring an untinted shield for indoor or very low-light environments should note that Clear is not supplied with this configuration. A compatible alternative shield may be fitted separately.

15% light transmissionThe Grey shield reduces intense glare and brightness while keeping colours close to their natural appearance. It is intended for strong sunlight and other bright outdoor conditions.
Light Rust
52% light transmissionThe Light Rust shield filters blue light to help reduce glare and haze while increasing contrast. It is intended for medium- to low-light conditions where distinguishing details and differences between objects may otherwise be more difficult.
Both shields are made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provide 100% UVA and UVB protection. Their T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.

This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432(GL), EN.166F.
ANSI Z87.1
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and shields must remain intact during testing.
MIL-PRF-32432(GL)
Evaluates the complete frame-and-shield system against a defined military fragment-impact standard using a .15 calibre projectile travelling at 702–724 km/h.
EN.166F
Confirms that the frame and shields have passed a defined low-energy impact test in which each shield must remain in the frame and must not shatter under the specified conditions.
