The Wiley X Saber Advanced Yellow configuration combines an 82% light-transmission shield with an adjustable Matte Black frame. The contrast-enhancing tint is intended for dim, foggy and overcast conditions, while the complete frame-and-shield system has been assessed against a defined military fragment-impact standard.
Product description
The Yellow shield allows a high proportion of available light through while increasing contrast between objects and their backgrounds. This can make visual differences easier to distinguish when available light is limited, including in foggy or overcast conditions.
This configuration is fitted with the Yellow shield, while the interchangeable system allows a compatible shield to be fitted for other light conditions.
Telescoping temples and a shapeable 360° wire-core nose piece allow the fit to be adjusted for different wearers. An elastic strap provides another way to secure the eyewear, while NVG compatibility allows the frame to remain in place when used with night vision goggles.

Telescoping temples, a shapeable 360° wire-core nose piece and the alternative elastic strap allow the frame to be adjusted and secured for different wearers and activities.
The semi-rimless frame is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon. Its Matte Black finish gives it a subdued, non-glossy appearance.

82% light transmissionThe Yellow shield allows a high proportion of available light through and increases contrast, helping objects and backgrounds appear easier to distinguish. It is intended for dim conditions and poor weather such as fog or overcast skies.
The shield is made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provides 100% UVA and UVB protection. Its T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.

ANSI Z87.1
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and shield must remain intact during testing.
MIL-PRF-32432(GL)
Evaluates the complete frame-and-shield system against a defined military fragment-impact standard using a .15 calibre projectile travelling at 702–724 km/h.
EN.166F
Confirms that the frame and shield have passed a defined low-energy impact test in which the shield must remain in the frame and must not shatter under the specified conditions.
