The WX Rogue Comm three-shield set combines slim COMM temples for use with ear-mounted equipment with Clear, Grey and Light Rust shields and an adjustable Matte Black frame. The complete frame-and-shield system has been assessed against a defined military fragment-impact standard.
The defining feature of the WX Rogue Comm is its slim temple design. The eyewear arms are designed for use beneath earmuffs and other ear-mounted hearing or communication equipment, making the frame particularly relevant when several items must be worn around the head and ears.
Three interchangeable shield tints allow the eyewear to be adapted as lighting changes. Grey reduces glare in bright sunlight, Clear provides high light transmission where a dark tint is unnecessary, and Light Rust increases contrast in medium- to low-light conditions.
The high-wrap frame also uses an adjustable nose piece that can be shaped to suit different nose bridges.
Designed for use beneath earmuffs and other ear-mounted hearing or communication equipment.
Clear, Grey and Light Rust options support visibility across different light conditions.
The nose piece can be shaped for a more secure and comfortable fit on different nose bridges.
This configuration has been assigned a NATO Stock Number for standardised procurement and inventory management.
The complete frame-and-shield system has been assessed against a defined military standard.
The WX Rogue Comm is particularly suited to tactical, defence and law-enforcement activities where protective eyewear is worn alongside hearing or communication equipment. Its interchangeable shields allow the same frame to be adapted from bright outdoor conditions to indoor or lower-light environments.

The frame uses Triloid™ Nylon, a lightweight, durable non-metal material. Its low weight supports comfortable wear, while the material contributes to the frame strength required for rigorous safety testing. The Matte Black finish gives the frame a subdued, non-glossy appearance. An adjustable nose piece allows the fit to be refined for different nose bridges.

The Clear shield allows a high proportion of available light to reach the eyes without adding a tint, helping colours retain a natural appearance. It is intended for indoor use and low-light conditions such as dawn, dusk, haze and overcast weather.
The Grey shield reduces intense glare and brightness while keeping colours close to their natural appearance. It is intended for strong sunlight and other bright outdoor conditions.
The Light Rust shield filters blue light to help reduce glare and haze while increasing contrast. It is intended for medium- to low-light conditions where distinguishing details may otherwise be more difficult.
All three shields are made from Selenite™ polycarbonate, providing the strength and durability needed for demanding optical safety testing. Their T-Shell™ scratch-resistant coating helps limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof. Each shield also provides 100% UVA and UVB protection.
This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432(GL), EN.166F.
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and shields must remain intact during testing.
Evaluates the complete frame-and-shield system against a defined military fragment-impact standard using a .15 calibre projectile travelling at 702–724 km/h.
Confirms that the frame and shield have passed a defined low-energy impact test in which the shield must remain in the frame and must not shatter under the specified conditions.
