The WX Lynx two-lens set combines interchangeable Clear and Grey lenses with a removable Facial Cavity™ Seal and lightweight Matte Black frame. The lenses cover bright outdoor and untinted low-light conditions, while the complete frame-and-lens system has been assessed against a defined American military fragment-impact requirement.
Product description
The two included lenses provide a straightforward choice between distinctly different light levels. Grey reduces glare and brightness in strong sunlight, while Clear provides high light transmission for indoor use and conditions where a dark tint is unnecessary.
A removable Facial Cavity™ Seal forms a soft foam barrier around the eyes to help reduce the entry of wind, dust, debris and peripheral light. Removing the seal allows the eyewear to be adapted when this additional barrier is not required.
The frame is also designed for use with night vision goggles, allowing the protective eyewear to remain in place during low-light operations.

Recommended use
The WX Lynx Clear and Grey set is particularly relevant to motorcycle and tactical use where lighting may change and a removable barrier against wind, dust and debris is useful. The Grey lens covers bright daylight, while Clear suits indoor, overcast and lower-light conditions.

The frame is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon and has a high-wrap form. Its Matte Black finish gives it a subdued, non-glossy appearance.

Clear
89% light transmissionThe Clear lens allows a high proportion of available light through without adding a tint, helping colours retain a natural appearance. It is intended for indoor use and low-light conditions such as dawn, dusk, haze and overcast weather.
Grey
15% light transmissionThe Grey lens reduces intense glare and brightness while keeping colours close to their natural appearance. It is intended for strong sunlight and other bright outdoor conditions.
Both lenses are made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provide 100% UVA and UVB protection. Their T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.

Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lenses must remain intact during testing.
