The WX Jakl pairs a CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Black Mirror lens with a lightweight Matte Black frame. Its 13% light transmission is intended for intense sunlight, while the polarised filter reduces reflected glare from water and other shiny surfaces—making this configuration particularly relevant to fishing, daytime driving and outdoor use.
The Polarized Filter 8™ manages horizontal light reflected from surfaces such as water, wet roads and windscreens. Reducing this strong reflected glare can make visual details easier to distinguish in bright daytime conditions.
CAPTIVATE™ technology separately manages selected wavelengths of visible light to increase contrast and help colours appear more distinct. The Grey lens base keeps colours close to their natural appearance, while the Black Mirror finish and 13% light transmission suit intense sunlight. The interchangeable-lens frame can also accept a compatible lens for other light conditions.
Anti-reflective, oleophobic and scratch-resistant coatings address reflections, smudges and surface wear.

The WX Jakl CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Black Mirror configuration is particularly suited to deep-water fishing, daytime driving and general outdoor activities in intense sunlight. Its polarised filter is most useful where reflected glare from water, wet roads or windscreens is a primary visibility concern.

The frame is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon, a non-metal material that helps keep unnecessary frame mass low. Its Matte Black finish gives it a subdued, non-glossy appearance.

The lens uses a Grey base to keep colours close to their natural appearance. CAPTIVATE™ technology filters light where blue, green and red colours overlap, helping the colours appear more distinct and increasing contrast. Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal light reflected from shiny surfaces, including water, wet roads and windscreens. The lens also reduces scattered short-wavelength blue light associated with haze and filters UV and blue light at wavelengths up to 430 nm.
The lens is made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provides 100% UVA and UVB protection.
T-Shell™: Helps resist scratches and reduce surface damage. Scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.
Anti-reflective coating: Reduces distracting reflections from the back surface of the lens to support visual comfort and clarity.
Oleophobic coating: Creates a smoother surface that helps reduce smudges and makes dirt, oil and moisture easier to remove.
