The CAPTIVATE™ Tungsten Mirror lens has a Grey base colour and is designed for intense sunlight, light cloud cover and changing daytime conditions. Its filtering technology increases contrast and helps make colours and visual details easier to distinguish.
Anti-reflective, oleophobic and scratch-resistant coatings address reflections, smudges and surface wear during regular outdoor use. The interchangeable-lens frame can also accept compatible lenses for other light conditions.

CAPTIVATE™ Tungsten Mirror
14% light transmissionCAPTIVATE™ technology filters light where blue, green and red colours overlap, helping the colours appear more distinct and increasing contrast. It separately reduces scattered short-wavelength blue light that can contribute to haze. The lens also filters UV and blue light at wavelengths up to 430 nm.
The lens is made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provides 100% UVA and UVB protection.
T-Shell™: Helps resist scratches and reduce surface damage. Scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.
Anti-reflective coating: Reduces distracting reflections from the back surface of the lens to support visual comfort and clarity.
Oleophobic coating: Creates a smoother surface that helps reduce smudges and makes dirt, oil and moisture easier to remove.

Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lens must remain intact during testing.
MIL-PRF-32432A
Assesses the complete frame-and-lens system against a defined American military high-speed fragment-impact requirement, with test velocities set according to the eyewear category.
