The WX Detection five-shield set combines Clear, Copper, Orange, Purple and Yellow shields with an adjustable Matte Black frame. Its tint range, target-focused contrast options and impact-tested construction make it particularly useful for clay-target shooting across changing light and weather conditions.
The WX Detection provides five interchangeable shields for adapting visibility to the environment. Clear and Yellow support low-light use, Orange and Purple increase contrast in medium- to low-light conditions, and Copper is suited to brighter or changing daytime light.
Several tints are designed to help targets stand out from their surroundings. Copper improves the visibility of orange clay pigeons, while Orange and Purple reduce green tones so other visual details are easier to distinguish.
The lightweight frame combines adjustable nose pads with flexible wire-core rubber temples that can be shaped for a more personalised fit. Its high-wrap design helps hold the shield securely while supporting an open field of view.
Clear, Copper, Orange, Purple and Yellow options cover a broad range of lighting and weather conditions.
Copper, Orange and Purple enhance contrast to help targets stand out from their surroundings.
Shapeable nose pads and flexible wire-core rubber temples allow the frame to be refined for the wearer.
The temples extend around the frame to help retain the shield while supporting an open field of view.
Every shield provides 100% UVA and UVB protection and uses a T-Shell™ scratch-resistant coating.
The WX Detection is particularly suited to clay-target shooting where light, weather and background colours may change during a session. Copper helps orange clay targets stand out in brighter or variable daylight, Orange and Purple increase target contrast against green backgrounds, and Clear or Yellow supports visibility as available light decreases.

Adjustable nose pads and flexible wire-core rubber temples allow the frame to be shaped for a more personalised fit, while the high-wrap design helps retain the shield and maintain an open field of view.
The frame is made from Triloid™ Nylon, a lightweight, durable non-metal material. Its low weight supports comfortable wear, while the material contributes to the frame strength required for rigorous safety testing. The Matte Black finish gives it a subdued, non-glossy appearance.
Clear, Copper, Orange, Purple and Yellow options for changing light, weather and target backgrounds.
The Clear shield allows a high proportion of available light to reach the eyes without adding a tint, helping colours retain a natural appearance. It is intended for indoor use and low-light conditions such as dawn, dusk, haze and overcast weather.
The Copper shield increases contrast and helps orange clay pigeons stand out from their surroundings. It is suited to bright, changing, cloudy and overcast daytime conditions.
The Orange shield increases contrast and dampens green tones so other details are easier to distinguish. It is intended for medium- to low-light conditions.
The Purple shield dampens green tones to help targets stand out from their surroundings. It is intended for conditions with moderate or limited available light.
The Yellow shield provides high light transmission for dim conditions. It helps reduce glare and strengthen contrast, supporting visibility in foggy and overcast weather.
All five shields are made from Selenite™ polycarbonate, providing the strength and durability needed for demanding optical safety testing. Their T-Shell™ scratch-resistant coating helps limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.
This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, EN.166F.
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and shield must remain intact during testing.
Confirms that the frame and shield have passed a defined low-energy impact test in which the shield must remain in the frame and must not shatter under the specified conditions.
