The Wiley X Climb combines a fixed 15% Grey lens with a lightweight, high-wrap Matte OD Green frame. Its brightness reduction, relatively natural colour balance and close-fitting Base Curve 8 profile suit bright-day shooting, tactical and active outdoor use. The complete frame-and-lens system has undergone defined American military fragment-impact testing.
The Grey lens reduces brightness and general glare in strong sunlight while keeping colours relatively close to their natural appearance. Its fixed 15% light transmission is intended for bright outdoor conditions rather than indoor or substantially reduced-light environments.
The high-wrap frame follows the sides of the face more closely than medium-wrap eyewear and helps limit peripheral light. Lightweight Triloid™ Nylon construction keeps the overall frame mass low for active use.
Reduces brightness and general glare while maintaining a relatively natural colour balance.
Suited to strong sunlight and other bright outdoor conditions.
The Base Curve 8 profile is more enveloping than medium-wrap eyewear and helps limit peripheral light.
Provides straightforward brightness reduction without a polarised filter for reflected-surface glare.
The frame is made from Triloid™ Nylon.
The complete frame-and-lens system has undergone ANSI, military fragment-impact and European impact testing.
The Wiley X Climb Grey is suited to bright-day hunting, shooting, tactical activities and active outdoor use. Its lightweight high-wrap frame may also be relevant for cycling, trail activities and motorcycle use when a close-fitting profile is preferred.
The dark fixed tint is not intended for indoor or substantially reduced-light environments. Customers who move across significantly different lighting conditions should consider an interchangeable or photochromic configuration. Those prioritising glare reduction from water, wet roads or other reflective surfaces should choose a lens explicitly identified as polarised.

The lightweight Triloid™ Nylon frame has a non-glossy Matte OD Green finish and a high-wrap Base Curve 8 profile. Its close-fitting shape helps reduce the open area around the sides of the lenses, although fit will vary between wearers.

The Grey lens provides 15% light transmission, reducing brightness and general glare in strong sunlight while keeping colours relatively natural. It does not add the stronger colour emphasis associated with contrast-enhancing tints. The lens is not identified as polarised. It should therefore not be expected to provide the same reflected-surface glare reduction as a polarised filter.
The lens is made from Selenite™ polycarbonate and blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays. The T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and surface damage but does not make the lens scratch-proof.
This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432A, EN.166F.
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact requirements. These include tests using a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lens must remain intact under the specified conditions.
Assesses the complete frame-and-lens system against the defined American military fragment-impact requirement for its product category.
Confirms that the complete eyewear has passed a defined European low-energy impact test in which the lens must remain secured within the frame and must not shatter under the specified conditions.
