Designed primarily for fishing in bright daylight, the Wiley X Bravo combines a 12% light-transmission CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Green Mirror lens with a Gloss Tortoise/Gloss Black full-frame design. Removable side shields provide a secondary advantage for anglers who also need an optional physical barrier beside the lenses during work-related tasks.
Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal glare reflected from water and other shiny surfaces. The Copper-based CAPTIVATE™ lens increases contrast and makes green, orange and blue tones appear more vivid and easier to distinguish.
The 12% light-transmission lens is intended for bright daytime conditions, including periods of light cloud cover. This gives the configuration a focused role in fishing and other outdoor activities where surface glare is common.
The removable side shields reduce the open area beside the lenses when additional lateral coverage is useful.

The Copper base makes green, orange and blue tones appear more vivid and easier to distinguish.
Provides 12% light transmission for bright daytime conditions, including periods of light cloud cover.
Removable shields reduce the open area beside the lenses during tasks involving potential lateral exposure.
Provides 100% UVA and UVB protection with anti-reflective, oleophobic and scratch-resistant treatments.
The complete eyewear has been assessed against ANSI Z87.1.
The WX Bravo Green Mirror configuration is particularly suited to fishing in bright daytime conditions where glare reflected from the water is common.
Its removable side shields provide an additional benefit for anglers whose work-related tasks may also make a physical barrier beside the lenses useful. The lens is additionally relevant to daytime driving and other bright outdoor activities involving reflective surfaces.

The full-frame design is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon. Its Gloss Tortoise/Gloss Black finish combines a patterned tortoise appearance with glossy black details.

The removable side shields reduce the open area beside the lenses but do not create a completely enclosed frame. Their physical barrier should not be treated as a guarantee against every lateral hazard. Tested impact performance remains limited to the complete-eyewear assessments described under Safety standards.
The CAPTIVATE™ lens manages selected wavelengths by separating overlapping blue, green and red light. Its Copper base increases contrast and makes green, orange and blue tones appear more vivid and easier to distinguish. Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal light reflected from surfaces such as water, wet roads and windscreens. Around water, this reduction in surface glare can make observable features beneath the surface easier to distinguish where water clarity, light and viewing conditions permit. The lens is intended for bright daytime conditions, including periods of light cloud cover. It reduces scattered short-wavelength blue light associated with haze and filters ultraviolet and blue light at wavelengths up to 430 nm.
The lens is made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provides 100% UVA and UVB protection.
Anti-reflective coating: Reduces distracting reflections from the back surface of the polarised lens.
Oleophobic coating: Helps reduce smudges and makes dirt, oil and moisture easier to remove.
T-Shell™ coating: Helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.
This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, ISO 12312-1.
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lenses must remain intact during testing.
Assesses sunglasses intended for normal wear and driving against defined optical, classification and user-information requirements.
