The Wiley X Affinity combines a 13% CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Rose Gold Mirror lens with a lightweight, high-wrap Gloss Black frame. Polarisation reduces glare reflected from water and other shiny surfaces, while the Green lens base makes green and yellow tones more distinct. This combination is suited to bright-day fishing, hiking and general outdoor use. The complete eyewear has undergone defined American and European impact testing.
The Rose Gold Mirror lens combines polarised reflected-glare reduction with colour filtering that increases the distinction of green and yellow tones. Its fixed 13% light transmission is intended for intense sunlight and other bright daytime conditions rather than indoor or substantially reduced-light environments.
The frame combines rounded rectangular lenses with a close-fitting Base Curve 8 profile. Lightweight Triloid™ Nylon construction keeps the overall frame mass low for active use.

Daytime driving and bright-day motorcycle use are credible secondary applications. The polarised filter reduces reflections from wet roads and windscreens, while the high-wrap frame provides a close-fitting profile.
Customers needing eyewear for indoor or substantially reduced-light conditions should choose a lighter lens. Those wanting transmission that changes in response to UV exposure should choose an explicitly photochromic configuration.

The CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Rose Gold Mirror lens provides 13% light transmission and uses a Green base. It reduces selected orange and blue peaks so that green and yellow tones appear more distinct, helping increase separation across contrasting outdoor scenery. Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontally reflected light from water, wet roads, windscreens and other shiny surfaces. Reduced surface glare may make observable features beneath water easier to distinguish where water clarity, available light and viewing conditions allow. CAPTIVATE™ technology separately manages selected blue, green and red wavelengths to make colour differences and contrast more noticeable. The lens also filters selected short-wavelength blue light that can contribute to atmospheric haze.
The Selenite™ polycarbonate lens blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Its anti-reflective coating reduces distracting reflections from the back surface, while the oleophobic treatment helps limit smudges and makes oil, moisture and dirt easier to remove. The T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and surface damage but does not make the lens scratch-proof.
This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, EN.166S.
