The Wiley X Gravity combines a 15% light-transmission Grey lens with a lightweight Matte Black high-wrap frame and removable Facial Cavity™ Seal. The configuration is intended for bright outdoor conditions, while its environmental barrier and defined military fragment-impact testing give it particular relevance to motorcycle, tactical and professional use.

The Grey lens reduces brightness and intense glare in strong sunlight while keeping colours close to their natural appearance. Its focused bright-light role makes this configuration suited to daytime outdoor activities where a darker lens is appropriate.
A removable Facial Cavity™ Seal forms a soft foam barrier around the eyes, helping reduce the entry of wind, dust, debris and peripheral light. The high-wrap Base Curve 8 frame provides a close-fitting eyewear shape and is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon.

Recommended use
The WX Gravity Grey configuration is particularly relevant to motorcycle and tactical activities in bright daytime conditions. Its removable foam seal adds practical value where wind, dust or debris may be present, while its high-wrap profile and defined fragment-impact testing support defence, law-enforcement, airsoft and hardball use.
The seal helps limit environmental intrusion around the eyes but does not create a completely sealed enclosure.

The lens is made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provides 100% UVA and UVB protection. Its T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.

This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432(GL), EN.166F.
ANSI Z87.1
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lens must remain intact during testing.
MIL-PRF-32432(GL)
Evaluates the complete frame-and-lens system against a defined military fragment-impact standard using a .15 calibre projectile travelling at 702–724 km/h.
EN.166F
Confirms that the frame and lens have passed a defined low-energy impact test in which the lens must remain in the frame and must not shatter under the specified conditions.
