The Wiley X Lynx combines interchangeable Clear and Grey lenses with a high-wrap OD Green frame, removable Facial Cavity™ Seal and NVG-compatible design. The two-lens range supports movement between bright outdoor and untinted reduced-light conditions, while the complete frame-and-lens system has undergone defined American military fragment-impact testing. This configuration does not include a contrast-enhancing lens for medium- to low-light conditions.
The Clear lens provides 89% light transmission for indoor settings, dawn, dusk, haze and overcast conditions. The Grey lens provides 15% light transmission, reducing brightness in strong sunlight while keeping colours relatively natural.
A close-fitting Base Curve 8 frame and removable Facial Cavity™ Seal help limit environmental interference around the eyes. Compatibility with night vision goggles adds practical value for tactical users working across daylight and low-light operations.

The Lynx two-lens set is suited to tactical users moving between strong daylight and indoor, overcast or untinted reduced-light environments. Its high-wrap profile and removable seal may also be relevant for bright-day motorcycle use where wind, dust and debris are concerns.
Customers who need contrast enhancement in medium- to low-light conditions should consider a compatible contrast-enhancing lens or a configuration that includes one.

The removable Facial Cavity™ Seal forms a soft barrier around the eyes to help reduce the entry of wind, dust and debris while limiting peripheral light. It does not make the eyewear completely sealed or guarantee exclusion of fine particles.
The frame is compatible with night vision goggles, allowing the protective eyewear to remain in place during supported low-light operations. Compatibility and fit may vary according to the equipment and individual wearer.
The Clear lens provides 89% light transmission without adding a tint, helping colours retain their natural appearance. It is intended for indoor environments, dawn, dusk, haze, overcast weather and other conditions where a dark lens may reduce useful visibility.
The Grey lens provides 15% light transmission, reducing brightness and general glare while keeping colours relatively natural. It is suited to strong sunlight and bright outdoor conditions rather than indoor or substantially reduced-light environments. The Grey lens is not identified as polarised. Customers who prioritise reflected-surface glare reduction should choose a configuration explicitly specified as polarised.
Both lenses are made from Selenite™ polycarbonate and block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. The T-Shell™ coating helps resist scratches and surface damage but does not make the lenses scratch-proof.
This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432A.
