The Wiley X Gravity combines a CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Grey lens with a lightweight Matte Black high-wrap frame and removable Facial Cavity™ Seal. Its 15% light transmission and polarised glare reduction suit intense sunlight, while the complete frame-and-lens system has been assessed against a defined military fragment-impact standard.
The CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Grey lens combines a neutral Grey base with wavelength-filtering technology that increases contrast and helps colours and visual details appear easier to distinguish. Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal glare reflected from water, wet roads, windscreens and other shiny surfaces.
A removable Facial Cavity™ Seal forms a soft foam barrier around the eyes, helping reduce the entry of wind, dust, debris and peripheral light. The high-wrap Base Curve 8 frame is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon.
This combination of bright-light glare control, environmental coverage and defined fragment-impact testing makes the WX Gravity relevant to fishing, motorcycle, tactical, defence and law-enforcement use.

Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal glare reflected from water, wet roads, windscreens and other shiny surfaces.
Selected wavelength filtering increases contrast and helps colours and visual details appear more distinct.
The Facial Cavity™ Seal helps reduce the entry of wind, dust, debris and peripheral light around the eyes.
The Base Curve 8 profile provides a close-fitting eyewear shape.
The complete frame-and-lens system has been assessed against MIL-PRF-32432(GL).
The WX Gravity is particularly relevant to motorcycle, tactical, defence and law-enforcement activities where environmental coverage and defined fragment-impact performance are important. Its polarised Grey lens also suits deep-water fishing, daytime driving and outdoor activities where intense sunlight and reflected glare are common.
The removable Facial Cavity™ Seal allows the wearer to choose between additional coverage around the eyes and the frame without the foam barrier.

The high-wrap Base Curve 8 frame is made from lightweight, durable Triloid™ Nylon. Its Matte Black finish gives it a subdued, non-glossy appearance.

The Facial Cavity™ Seal uses soft foam to form a removable barrier around the eyes. It helps limit the entry of wind, dust, debris and peripheral light but does not create a completely sealed enclosure.
The CAPTIVATE™ lens manages selected wavelengths by separating overlapping blue, green and red light. This increases contrast and helps colours and visual differences appear more distinct, while the neutral Grey base keeps most colours close to their natural appearance. Polarized Filter 8™ reduces horizontal light reflected from surfaces such as water, wet roads and windscreens. The lens also reduces scattered short-wavelength blue light associated with haze and filters ultraviolet and blue light at wavelengths up to 430 nm.
The lens is made from strong, durable Selenite™ polycarbonate and provides 100% UVA and UVB protection.
Anti-reflective coating: Reduces distracting reflections from the back surface of the polarised lens.
Oleophobic coating: Helps reduce smudges and makes dirt, oil and moisture easier to remove.
T-Shell™ coating: Helps resist scratches and limit surface damage, although scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.
This configuration is assessed against ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432(GL), EN.166F.
Assesses the complete eyewear against defined high-velocity and high-mass impact tests. These include a fast-moving 6.35 mm steel ball and a 500 g pointed falling projectile; the frame and lens must remain intact during testing.
Evaluates the complete frame-and-lens system against a defined military fragment-impact standard using a .15 calibre projectile travelling at 702–724 km/h.
Confirms that the frame and lens have passed a defined low-energy impact test in which the lens must remain in the frame and must not shatter under the specified conditions.
